Okay first off this movie is dark. Not just dark in tone but just plain dark. It's divided into 2 parts. The 1st part is titled Thirty. A man and woman who I think at some point establish they are thirty seem to rob people and have sex in a very dark room say things like: "I'm hungry. Let's do nothing. Nothing but sex." At one point we get to watch a janitor at a train station clean up for about 6 minutes or so. Again in the dark. It ends with the couple being shot by someone I have no idea who or why. The second part is called Nineteen. Another man and woman meet and once again agree they are both nineteen. I think they also have sex but it's so dark I can't be sure exactly who is having sex and can barely see what is happening. I think the girl tells the guy something like: "Take my yellow panties in consideration of what you've done for me" Then he shoots her but again it's very dark and I'm not sure what happens but it just kind of freezes on her standing there bleeding. Does she die? What does this mean? If you like IFC or Sundance this is probably right up your alley. Very little dialog. I'm sure it's highly regarded. Dark. Dark. Dark.
